The area is safe but if walking from the bus stop along the main road you'll need to be careful when you have all of your luggage as the street vendors can take up the entire sidewalk and the road can be somewhat busy.

"If there were one word to describe my stay, it would be “Perfect”. From the full windowed rooms which view is right to the beautiful lake to the wonderful staff at the hotel, the whole experience was amazing. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Location is also great near the shopping street. Wendy greeted us very warmly with a welcome drink of tea, gave us activity and restaurant suggestions, and treated us very kindly throughout our stay.
