"This is a property with a breathtaking view of the Ooty huills and valleys. The cottages are good although they now require a fresh coat of paint inside. Food is decent and the breakfast spread is very good and so is the dinner buffet. Hotel staff are helpful and response to the calls is quick. Hot water timings are restricted in the mornings and evenings but that's not too much of an issue. The hotel helped us with a immersion rod beyond the normal timings so that was very helpful. "Yes only about 45 min to mudumalai, excellent spot for wildlife and birds. But it is not easily accessible and no restaurants near by and kitchen was closed for most of the days we stayed there so I spent about Rs2000 each day on a cab to take us to dinner. The staff are very friendly but they are not used to running a hotel ? Didn't change towels or service the room in 3 days! Otherwise great place."
