Location ottima. In pieno centro ma tranquillo. Personale cortese, gradevole sempre disponibile a tutte le ore. Solo il bagno un po' piccolo in assoluto ma aveva comunque tutto il necessario e adeguato allo standard francese due stelle. nessun altro problema particolare. Sicuramente da consigliare.

Tidsresa till fin de secle

En elegant byggnad från 1895 mitt i la belle epoque, i omedelbar närhet till Vieux Nice. Gemytlig atmosfär med hjälpsam, engelsktalande personal som även förstår din skolfranska! Klassisk petit dejeuner i fina frukostmatsalen.

We love the location and old world charm of Hotel Acanthe and have stayed there in previous years, so we requested room 48 on the round front of the building on the top floor (6 months in advance booking). Unfortunately the room was in use by someone else for our first night, so the staff generously agreed to move us the next day when the room we asked for became available. However we only spent 5 minutes there because we noticed bed bugs on the bed. The staff gave us another small room on the side street facing section of the hotel with 3 single beds. Since Charles owns a professional pest control business he always checks hotel rooms before we put our suitcases down. Of course we were disappointed not to be able to have the lovely view room we had requested, but had a decent stay at Hotel Acanthe and could easily walk to explore the promenade, Cours Saleya flower market and the terrace view over Nice from the old castle hilltop.

Rooms are not air conditioned and bathroom is pretty small. Staff was very friendly regardless of time and was helpful in letting me keep my luggage for a few days before I checked in since I toured around the area. Since room was not air conditioned, I kept the balcony door open and ceiling fan on and it was relatively cool in sep. noise level was not too bad as it was mainly road noise.

Relatively cheap good location but not recommended

The location of the hotel is great and close to everything. But, the quality of hotel was overall not so good for me: dirty room, frequently disconnected WiFi, too much noise coming from outside, no air conditioner, same breakfast every day...

Ihan ok ja toimiva hotelli mukavassa vanhassa talossa. Olimme vain kaksi yötä ja vietimme päivät ulkona, hyvä nukkumapaikka. Huone kylläkin pikkuruinen, mutta toimiva. Loistava sijainti! Kaupungin melu kuului vähemmän sisälle kuin aiemmassa majapaikassamme Massena-aukion laidalla. Aamupala oli oikein ranskalainen: kahvia, mehua, leivonnaisia ja hilloa pöytään tarjoiltuna.

Pretty Okay

A small hotel, with rooms in need of updates. Cheap and great location, you can walk to great restaurants and the beach very easily. Pleasant staff. During our three days stay we never had hot water for the shower.

Bästa läget - men klaustrofobiskt små rum

Perfekt läge med nära till allt och trevlig personal. Däremot det minsta hotellrum jag sett i mitt liv, man får inte ha anlag för klaustrofobi. Ingen plats för att ställa något bagage eller hänga upp kläder. Duschen var så liten att en fullvuxen man inte fick plats. Byte av handdukar varje dag var ett plus. Enkel frukost.

Worst hotel ever

Hotel was terrible. They charged me for two nights and i didn't stay at all. Was willing to pay for one night.. No air conditioning, Extremely small uncomfortable rooms with tiny bathroom and shower.

You first booked me into Hotel Spity 4 *. I found out later-you didn’t tell me. Then you booked me into the Acanthe 2*. When we got to Nice, we found the Acanthe to be unacceptable-not even close to the Spity. We changed to the Aston 3*. Good. Your customer service for this trip was very poor. Doug Hubbell

A disappointing hotel

A great location but that's about all it had going for it. No air conditioning and only a really old, ineffective ceiling fan meant the room was unbearably hot. The bin collectors come at 1am and are incredibly noisy. I wouldn't stay here again or recommend anyone else does.

Room on top floor is very hot in July. If you open the window, no privacy because of buildings next door, and roar of motorcycles. Another room was so small, that there is not enouh space to pull the chair and sit on it, the chair is stuck between the bed and tiny desk

Me estafaron!!!! Reserve a las 2 de la mañana y al llegar me dijeron que habia un error en la reserva, y que era culpa de Expedia, por lo tanto me cobraron otros 68 euros.. El hotel dice que la culpa es de expedia, y expedia de momento no dice nada.... Pague dos veces las mismas 6 horas de sueño!!! Y NO SE LA PIERDAN!!! AL VER EL HOTEL QUE ME RETIRABA DEL HOTEL A LA MAÑANA VOLVIO A VENDER MI HABITACION HECHANDOME A LAS 11 DE LA MANAÑA. NEGOCIO REDONDO!!! POR UN DIA, COBRARON 3!! NO VISITEIS ESTE HOTEL!!!! POR FAVOR!!! TE ESTAFAN!!!!!
