Hotel Management is rude, lying and not friendly to customers. Food is not good compar d to other Ayurveda resorts. Seevice staff is not trained and unfriendly. Had to check out after two days and move to new hotel so vacation is not spoiled by staff attitude. Will never come back for sure.

dopo aver prenotato l'hotel, siamo stati all'ultimo minuto prima spostati al TRAVANCORE HERMITAGE per 2 notti e poi al SOMATHEERAM 4 notti.... praticamente stavamo al Manaltheeram prendendo il TAXI... ci offerto per il disagio taxi per arrivare da loro e yoga ATTENTI Senza parole...mai successo

Nice location close to Ocean and beautiful setting

Giving a deserving title, rest depends on your primary purpose of staying there. We were looking forward and indeed enjoyed the Ayurveda massages. Food was good with excellent service. Some of the important things that matter significantly were disappointing, such as no airconditioning in room (Certainely was wrong in assumption), receptions desk responses too slow, sleeping under ceiling fan in mosquito netting with constant fluctuations in power current, water motor failure while in shower and not restored for an hour or more. All employees are eager to please you but find slow responses. I may not stay there again but it may be ideal for some who do not see this as roughing.

Very relaxing hotel on the beach

A lovely rustic hotel with excellent Ayurveda staff and therapies. The staff cannot do enough for you and the service was great! Would definitely go back!

Nice relaxing stay. We booked a garden villa and arrived on a taxi prebookked with the hotel. Room was spacious (though probably our cabin was larger than usual as it had an adjacent sitting lounge) although a bit dark. Large bathroom with toiletries and basic hairdryer. Premises are nice including gardens, swimming pool and a few hammocks. Note that garden cabins don't have hammocks. Tv and Internet connection worked fine. Electricity was interrupted occasionally by no more than 5 min. A fan in the room was enough to keep us cool -no need for A/C. The entertainment programme (each night at 7:30) was quite pleasant. Food was very good (both buffet and a la carte) but mainly vegetarian. Staff were quite attentive and plenty seating spaces both facing garden and sea views. Location is right by the beach (which had a rough sea so don't expect to swim there). Free sun beds and towels provided. Other than that there's not much around, though I would recommend the music shop out of the hotel ( top of the steep hill) Overall a relaxing stay.

Difficile de noter cet hôtel. Nous avons été reçus avec un collier de fleurs et une boisson, en signe de bienvenue, puis on nous a dit que l'hébergement que nous avions réservé et payé depuis deux mois n'était pas disponible, et que nous allions donc être logés dans un autre hôtel du groupe. Inutile de discuter, on nous redisait sans arrêt qu'il n'y avait plus de place, et que c'était une erreur de hôtel.com. Un taxi est venu nous chercher et nous a transportés à l'autre hôtel. C'est un hôtel équivalent, très bien, mais construit en haut de la falaise. Il fallait donc descendre la falaise par un escalier de plus de 100 marches. De plus le bungalow qui nous a été alloué se trouvait tout au fond du complexe, et il fallait gravir de nombreuses marches pour y accéder. Nous y avons passé un bon séjour, mais nous étions très déçus de ne pas avoir obtenu ce que nous avions réservé.

Ayurveda Resort but more than that

More than satified with the resorts facilities - the relaxed atmosphere - the warm and service minded staff - the great varieties of vegetarian food - the massage facilities - the yoga. We would definetly wish to come back another time a stay more than 2 nights

Lovely beach hotel

We booked for 5 day's, I wish we could have booked for longer, the whole experience was so relaxing. Our cottage had a sea view so we fell asleep and woke up to the sound of the ocean. All the staff were friendly and helpful, especially Parveen, the housekeeping supervisor, who would check daily that everything was okay and sort out the smallest problem straightaway.

Nice hotel, beautiful grounds and beach.

Great service from very attentive staff. All the clinicians and therapists are excellent and caring. The property gardens and landscapes are beautifully designed and well maintained. The beach is clean and very close to the resort so we enjoyed early morning and late evening walks on the beach.

Paradis für Asketen und Vegetarier

Die Anlage liegt in einem traumhaften Garten, der Weg in die Stadt ist aber steil und beschwerlich, es gibt keine anderen Restaurants in Fussnähe und das Restaurant im Hotel ist eher minderwertig. Das Personal weigert sich a la Carte Bestellungen aufzunehmen, erst bei Beschwerde war es möglich, allerdings mit 45 minuten Wartezeit für ein Milkshake. Sämtliche Stühle in der Anlage sind unbequem, zu hoch, unzureichende Polsterauflagen
