"The Mill Street Inn is perfectly located for seeing Newport. The Inn is located one block from great restaurants and shops on Thames. If you walk two blocks the other direction you are at the Tram stop to take you out to Cliff Walk and the Gilded Age mansions. The staff was courteous and friendly. We were given maps and advise on dining out. The breakfast is delicious. We will always choose Mill Street Inn when coming to Newport."

"absolutely LOVED this place, and now that we've seen how difficult it is to find parking in newport, we're thankful we picked a place with parking! innkeeper tonie is an absolute gem, super approachable and helpful, provided great local info and recommendations. the room was perfect and very comfortable, and my favorite perk was having coffee available in the lobby 24/7 via a keurig with pods and a mini fridge for creamer. for me, this is a huge plus. we only stayed one night, and breakfast...

"We spent 2 nights at the Inn. The location was so perfect - we were able to walk to the Wharf area for activities and restaurants but also was far enough away from how busy that area can be on weekends. There is a coffee place just down the block but not really needed as the breakfast at the inn was delicious. The onsite parking was so convenient. Liz was so welcoming and made us feel at home. "We stayed here for our wedding anniversary and so glad we found this adorable inn. Their yummy breakfasts were pleasantly served by the inn keeper, Kim and the Inn accommodated my gluten allergy for breakfast treats. Within walking distance to shopping, restaurants and the wharf, we basically left our car in their private parking lot and walked everywhere. An added bonus, 4-6pm they served cheese, crackers and wine. We will definitely return. Thanks for a great, warm stay."

"This was our first time staying here. check in was seamless. The owner was friendly and welcoming. small snacks and cocktails were available in the living room. It was an easy walk to Thames Street for shopping and dining. Will definitely stay again. "
