I guess NOT having a microwave in the room must be a common occurrence for the East coast. So we were again throwing away tens of dollars in leftovers.
Something else this place doesn’t disclose until you’re checking in is that YOU PAY FOR PARKING! Seriously? Just raise the rate of the room $20/night instead hiding this charge. They also charge you a $50/NIGHT! Seriously? I don’t care if it’s going to be refunded.
It didn’t feel safe there. There was very little to choose from in the way of food. The takeout options were terrible and took an hour or more to get to us each time we ordered. We tried to go out one night, but after seeing prostitution on the streets several miles away, we didn’t feel safe getting out of our car.
The breakfast was good, but it was always super crowded. The beds were okay. The ac unit in the room barely worked. It just blew air, so with the humidity it was rather uncomfortable most of the time. At least it was clean. Really appreciated the staff, it’s well run.
For a Hampton, it was an okay stay. Because of the location, we won’t be back.
