We stayed 4 nights at this location. Breakfast is included with your resort fee. The breakfast is amazing and extensive. (They even had almond and oat milk) Happy hour is from 5pm-8pm, they offer a wide range of foods. They also had wine available at this time, included. The front desk staff very friendly, it was raining last week and they offered umbrellas to return back. The location is very secure, I felt safe. On one of the days, they got us a cab, he road back in the cab that he got for us. That’s dedication. My husband and I are two seniors visiting for our daughter’s graduation. I will be returning to this hotel, thank you so much.

Is the first time I stay at this hotel and it ready surprise me, I travel to New York very often, love the area where it is located. All the facilities and the employees are more than what I expected, defintenly recommend and would love to stay there again.

I stay here often. It took us a couple of days to get water bottles in our room as promised. And housekeeping forgot to leave several items such as glasses and bathmats. But generally this is one of my favorites and I will stay there again.

Tried to get the Heater / AC to turn off at night so we could have some quiet. I asked 3 times to have the maintenance person but nothing was done. The unit rattled on for the 7 nights we were there.

The location is ideal, next to a subway station and being between Carnegie Hall and Broadway. The included breakfast and evening refreshment was of good quality, and reasonable range. The room was reasonably well furnished and of an adequate size. The bed was very comfortable. All in all, good for the price and it suited us well. We would happily stay here again.

Staff was very nice but the hotel did not have amenities like shower caps in the rooms. The hallways and doors seemed a bit run down and in need of maintenance. I was a little disappointed since this was a 5 star hotel.

They surprisingly add $55 per person per day resort fee ($110 per day for couple) that is mandatory. Expedia puts that way down in other information fine print. The key cards never worked. They even suggested we have the front desk let us back in whenever we left the room. It was impossible to get help. Had to go find laundry, never delivered to room. When tried to cancel last night of five night stay, the hotel blamed Expedia and Expedia told me the hotel never answered their calls.

The hotel has nice staff and is clean. The breakfast is good as well, with bagels available every morning, which I loved. The gym is rather tiny, which I regretted, but it gets the job done. The hotel is situated in a great area with lots of highlights within walking distance. Public transport is also available right around the corner!

The staff were amazing. Friendly from the start and throughout our stay. You can’t beat the location, everything is at your feet from theaters to great dining spots, to Central Park etc WestHouse will be my new “go to”whenever I visit NYC. I came here on a friend’s recommendation and I will wholeheartedly recommend WestHouse to anyone O know traveling to NYC.

Wonderful stay the staff were friendly and personable. I was disappointed that the resort fee was sprung on us at check in. A bit of a damper on the start of a quick trip away. Other than that it was wonderful and would highly recommend the hotel. Great location, amenities and was clean and felt safe.

My accessibility room on the 24th floor was very spacious and comfortable, but the heater system was very loud so I had to use earplugs. Breakfast and evening snacks were delicious and so much to eat. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location is very good , walking distance to Times Square, Central Park, Lincoln Center, and many others. Traffic around the hotel was horrific though.

5 Star hotel? Maybe it was at one time, but the interior and furnishing are worn and showing their age. The bathroom sink was cracked, the light fixtures were rusted, the mirrors were stained on the inside. At this point, it's more like a 3.5-4 Star property, but the staff are attentive and professional, and the included Indulgence Hour and breakfast are worth the $55 "resident fee". CAVEAT - The front desk has bad directions and info about "validated parking". I was first given the wrong address, and was then told I would receive a $45 discount when I pay for the parking, but the garage only discounted $20. I could have done better finding parking on my own.

Overall stay was good. Only issue I had was AC didn’t cool of the room as needed and also soap shelf in shower was broken so every bottle was on the shower floor.

We really liked this hotel. It's located within a walking distance from all the attractions of the Theater district, but not too close to the madness - in a Goldilocks zone. It felt safe, secure and well-taken-care of. The hallways were quiet, clean and had a pleasant smell (perfume or laundry?) The room was basic, art-deco style furniture, with high-end finishes. Not luxury, but not cheap either. Our room was quiet. The bedding was the best. Very comfortable pillows and comforter. Breakfast was very good, offering a variety for any taste. Different types of fruit served in January were surprisingly sweet. Overall, it was a great experience. However, there is an additional charge as a "resort fee"for the room. This will be a determining factor for us to avoid staying in this hotel in the future since we would not be using any of the so-called resort amenities. I would recommend this hotel but be aware of the pricing as you make a reservation.

I liked nothing about this property. It has nothing to recommend it and Expedia should consider not listing it. The staff wanted to me to a higher amount than the Expedia booking. I had to spend about 30 minutes in an argument with the front desk person who tired to hustle me with these extra vague charges and I had to call the manager and again argue for 15 minutes even though I showed them my Expedia receipt. This is a filthy hotel, falsely advertised as a boutique hotel of 7 floors(I called before booking). It is 7 floors from 19-26. Also the room was dirty. They replaced soiled dirty towels in the bathroom and there were the previous persons belongings left. The bed was uncomfortable, the pillow was a concrete slab and the heater did not work. The fan started on low and then went full blast and we had to turn the system off and the room was cold. The blankets was a flimsy polyester type blanket. Awful experience. Run. Do NOT book here with these scammers.

Beds were super comfortable, and AC was able to chill the room to an optimal sleeping temp. Only downfall was cleanliness of bathroom. There were gnats on the bathroom ceiling as if they had been bug sprayed and left there instead of wiped away. Same with parts of the mirrors. Other than that it was a great stay. All the staff we encountered, from check in, bartenders, breakfast/happy hour staff, housekeeping we passed in the hall to bellhop were super friendly and professional! Always greeted with smiles. Would stay again.

The Westhouse is a treat! The staff is very helpful and friendly. The lobby is cozy and the perfect place to relax. The Indulgence Hours make deciding where to have dinner after a fun day in NYC simple!

We had a wonderful stay at WestHouse. Staff was so friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the breakfast and happy hours, in particular. Room was comfortable and quiet (of course there was some street noise - it's NYC! - but nothing that disturbed our rest at night). We also took advantage each morning of the nice gym facilities. Location can't be beat - so easy to walk to many attractions and also the subway could literally not be more convenient (directly outside of the hotel). We will definitely recommend this spot to others and stay here again!

Hotel was ok, needs a refresh. Staff were pleasant and efficient. As a warning, the air conditioning in the hotel is shut off as of November 1 apparently, so the rooms are quite warm. The only way to cool them is to open the window, which doesn’t help that much and lets in a lot of noise from the street.

Room wasn’t ready when we arrived, staff was unconcerned. We’d been traveling all day and needed to prepare for a 4pm event. At the staff’s suggestion,we washed up and changed our clothes in the lobby bathroom. After multiple requests, at 4:30 the manager finally “moved some things around” and found us a lovely room.

Absolutely amazing
Can’t praise Westhouse Hotel enough! The staff was extremely friendly and professional. Breakfast/brunch is very adequate, served in an authentic stage with amazing views. Will definitely come again. We had a minor issue on the window on our first night, which was fixed promptly the day after. All in all, definitely recommended.

Beautiful hotel, within walking distance to Central Park and Times Square. The complimentary breakfast and happy hour were great, hotel is quiet and the guys downstairs are always there to help you catch a cab or greet you when you return, which gave us a good feeling of safety! Will definitely return on all trips back to NYC.
