New hotel with many excellent things -- large rooms, comfortable beds, large, well-conceived bathrooms, large TVs. But...it didn't seem like they paid any attention to sound insulation. I heard babies crying somewhere nearby, people in rooms all around me, and loud thumps whenever someone nearby dropped a suitcase. If you are a light sleeper or noise sensitive this place may not work for you.

This was my first time in NY. The location is close to the subway & the location for the main reason I came. The neighborhood could use a little upgrading, people I came in contact with were nice & friendly.

The hotel is a little bit far from the subway but it is walkable, the breakfast is really good, the hotel service is very nice, I don't have any complains about it, I think we will be staying here again soon!

The hotel is in a place where an Uber/taxi/Lyft is almost required if you are a single woman traveling alone. Not a dangerous neighborhood but definitely under construction. My view was of smokestacks and a building under construction. Construction started before 7 am daily and the first night a large truck ran directly in front of the hotel for HOURS and white noise did not drown out the vibrations. TV stopped working except for the Marriott Bonvoy channel after the AT&T service disruption (2/22/24). Had a laptop but really? Staff was great! Dressed very informally but attentive and helpful. Breakfast was great. I have read it is crammed into a tiny alcove but it is NOT and there were SO many choices. Would have liked real cream or half and half but coffeemate seems to be a NYC thing? Would have liked a view but I really only slept there for 3 nights so didn’t matter to me. If it does to you, maybe not this hotel.

No on-site Park available- even though it said on website. Valet was 55 day. Front desk employees verbally confronting each other while we were checking in- very unprofessional to each other in front on guest checking in.

No wash rag for the 3 days I stayed. Staff couldn't find any. Overcrowded breakfast so had to skip everyday. Construction crew outside wakes us up before 8am... otherwise hotel was very clean and great workers

As a Brooklyn native I had my reservations concerning this property but I ended up being very very satisfied with my stay. From the exterior to the room everything looked just like the images I seen when making my reservation. The receptionist that checked me in(was a man but I didn’t get his name) was very professional and friendly especially with me checking in at night. Bed was comfortable and everything was clean(I checked in the crevices and everything lol). If I had to critique something it would be there’s no ice machine(although my room did have a fridge), there was also construction going on across the street and both mornings I woke up to the noise(but as I said I am a Brooklyn native so I’m used to noise plus my room was facing the front of the property so maybe it wouldn’t have been that loud on the other side of the building), and there isn’t much right around the property, some bodegas in walking distance but you have to walk a lil further to get to more food options(which I didn’t mind) or UberEats.
