Staff was amazing. But the area and the hotel itself, is not it. My bedsheets had cigarette burns in them and also in the carpets. Crackhead central.

Worst hotel stay ever!!!
Upon check-in, I was notified that the tv wasn't working. After a lengthy discussion with the clerk and asking if there was something that could be done to rectify the situation, I was met with a disrespectful and non-empathetic NO! Once in the room, I quickly noticed how dirty the carpet and areas around the room appeared. The garbage from the previous occupant was not emptied. Before retiring to the bed, I used the bathroom and flushed the toilet. When I awoke, I noticed that the toilet was clogged. I called to notify the front desk and was told housekeeping would be there shortly. No one arrived. When checking out, I explained my stay to the clerk at the front desk and was abruptly interrupted and told that if I have a concern, it should be addressed by the booking agent online.

This hotel didn't even have a visible identification sign on the outside! It is in terrible condition. No blankets on the bed or clothes hangers in the closet.

This place is a shelter and smells ridiculously bad and reeks of cigarette smoke. When we complained to front desk, switched our room but he called upstairs ahead to spray the room. When we complained, he said only Expedia can refund me money, only for Expedia to tell me that it was he who refused. DO NOT GO TO THE HILLSIDE HOTEL.

The room was dirty, the kind of dirty that is because you haven't cleaned consistently. The heavy plastic curtains had layers of grim on either end where people moved them to look out the window. The bathroom floor and surfaces were not cleaned recently. The faucet in the sink was completely detached, I had to get clean sheets and pillowcases from the front desk.

Badly kept property. Carpet dirty and spotty. Garbage on the floor on my floor. Someone tried to get into my room late Sunday night. TV remotes didn’t work. They advertised breakfast and they had no breakfast being served. Refrigerator in my room didn’t work. Internet access didn’t work. Furniture sticky. Lamp shade was all marked up. I had to wipe down and spray Lysol. Only one hanger in the closet.

The hotel does not have the name on the building. The check in was good. The room is small (i expected that). The bed was hard, there is a lot of deferred maintenance. There were two half smoked joints left on the closet top. The refrigerator did not work. The shower has a water restricted head that gave you a drizzle shower. The carpet was stained.

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL unless your low on funds and absolutely need a place to stay I get it but do not expect it to match the photos and do not expect to get a room that’s clean. They didn’t have any of the amenities said to be had except wifi. My bed sheets were spotted entirely and the bathroom looked absolutely nothing like depicted. Did I mention my door to the room was broken as well? It SMELLS clean but honey smells can be deceiving. The front desk person was also rude as hell and there’s a deposit to pay upon arrival that’s also not mentioned. Disgusted. I was absolutely displeased and disgusted.
