"I am not really sure why the reviews here so poorly match the state of the hotel. It’s run down and a more than a bit grubby. The staff are lovely and helpful and do their best to take care of you but it doesn’t really make up for the fact that the hotel needs some serious upkeep."

"The hotel was centrally, located to the French quarters, the Riverwalk and most importantly, Cafe Du Monde. The staff was outstanding and our room was exceptionally clean. I would definitely recommend this location."
