Roser midt i floden

Et smukt sted næsten med den lille flod flydende ind af vinduet i pejsestuen (med ild i pejsen) - mange smukke retro ting og vintageting alle vegne. Kan man ikke lide katte, så har man et problem. Vi spiste en lækker 4 retters aftenmenu med en flaske vin til helt OK pris. Morgenmaden var lækker næsten udelukkende med produkter sf egen avl. Specielt sted men hyggeligt.

Très bonne nuit dans le chalet au calme , bercé par la petite cascade du moulin. Accueil très chaleureux de la maîtresse de maison , échanges très chaleureux avec les animaux : chats et Léon le paon!!!

An oasis in a busy world

If you are seeking peace and calm in a busy world this place is an oasis. If you are expecting hotel standard service then stay away and leave it to those who appreciate the beauty and charm of a chambre d'hoteset in a country garden by the side of the old mill stream that babbles away night and day. Rooms in the house are a feast of beams and furnishings. The chalet in the gounds is syle personified with fin de siecle 19th furnishings all given a tasteful new lease of life with a soft white paint wash. Breakfast of home made bread, cake and jams is worth the visit alone. Bon Viveur, a world weary traveller alwayz seeking something different Si vous recherchez la paix et le calme dans un monde occupé, cet endroit est une oasis. Si vous attendez un service standard, restez à l'écart et laissez-le à ceux qui apprécient la beauté et le charme d'une chambre d'hôtes située dans un jardin paysager au bord du vieux ruisseau qui babille nuit et jour. Les pièces de la maison sont un festin de poutres et de meubles. Le chalet dans le manoir est syle personnifié avec un mobilier fin de siècle 19ème tous redonné vie à une belle vie avec un lavis de peinture blanc doux. Un petit-déjeuner composé de pain, de gâteaux et de confitures faits maison vaut le détour. Bon Viveur, un voyageur fatigué cherche toujours quelque chose de différent
