"First room we received smelled very musty and damp, They had just put new carpet down so maybe it was left moisture from cleaning. The access door on the back side of the building would not fully secure without excessive force. The second room we were given was better but the toilet rocked back and forth and there was what appeared to be black mold above the shower head. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was lacking restocking of the fruits and pastries, the pancake machine batter dosing setting was set to baseball diameter pancakes. The breakfast hours are cut to 9:30 like your getting a bums rush to get up and get out while check out isn't until 11:00. AC worked great,"

"My husband and I were in town visiting for his mother's celebration of life. We were put on the top floor in the nicest and biggest room we have ever had. The staff was beyond helpful and friendly. I only wish I could remembered their names. It was conveniently located down town and within walking distance of many restaurants and activities. And the addition of a self serve bar was a complete surprise and the best part of the hotel stay. Breakfast was delicious as always."

"Everything was clean, the staff was friendly. It is in an out of the way location, so it is very quiet and convenient for where we needed to be. They are remodeling, so there was a lot of activity and additional noise. They did try to keep it from inconveniencing the guests, but it was right next door to our room, so unfortunately we did hear a lot. My main issues were I had asked on check-in (we were there for 2 nights) for a late check out and I was told to ask the next day, and then the next day. No one could give me a definite answer, so it was difficult to plan around. I understand that they had others wanting late check out also, but I feel like I could have been given a more definite answer since we asked 2 days before. Also, I had to double check the morning of, just to get confirmation. The hair dryer kept shutting off when in use and we had to reset it constantly to use it. The electrical outlet that it was permanently connected to was concerning. The door did not close or latch correctly, so we had to constantly check that it was latched, but there was still a lot of space between the door and frame. Minor issues - the overall stay was great and we would stay here again."

"Everything was great - as it always is. We have stayed multiple times and will continue to stay. This is our top choice to stay, unfortunately it is booked up often. All areas are clean, staff is very friendly and helpful, and breakfast is great."

"Definitely would not stay here again. Arrived to a bunch of signs on the counter and a ring bell for service...The hotel had a terrible musty smell. Our room had mold on the wall by the AC/Heater. Our bathroom door had no lock. Breakfast you're greeted by more signs asking you to eat Breakfast in the designated area and not in your room. After breakfast went back to our room, key didn't work, had to ring the service bell several times to no answer. Waited in the lobby for 15 minutes with no one coming in to help. Finally I called the number on the sign that said call for service."
