"Left my credit card at the front desk when charged the $2 tax and it was stolen. Luckily my card company caught the first charge as fraud but disappointed that the hotel kept and lost the card. Beyond that hotel lobby was small and chaotic, elevator was slow, AC was broken. Not as expected."

"Old hotel which has gone through massive extension with some parts still being worked on. We stayed in the newer part of the building. The room was very big and classic design. Terrace was a big bonus which I did not expect. Staff is very friendly and professional. Outside pool is amazing!!! Breakfast buffet was very good and worth it"

"Incredibly friendly staff throughout. The hotel could do with a refurb as dated in some areas, however, very clean. Please note the entire St Julian’s area is under construction and starts very early and finishes late - which could imped your relaxation. "

"Good location, large rooms, decent breakfast. Some strange rules that could be reviewed: 1) needing to exchange towels for vouchers; 2) paying for bathrobe rental; 3) gym closed till 9am on Sundays. "

"Location of the hotel is very convenient - plenty of restaurants, cafes and shops nearby. St Julian's bay is close by and the hotel has a rooftop pool and bar as well to enjoy the sunset. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast was good with a wide spread of fresh fruit, baked items and eggs - scrambled, fried and omelettes on different days."

"We visited around Easter and the majority of the hotel's features did not seem to be available. The outdoor bar was closed, as was the steam room and sauna. The hot tub was also more of a lukewarm tub. The "private beach" is also very small. That said, the staff we friendly, professional and courteous. The breakfast was pretty standard hotel fare, and the hotel is quite centrally located if you are interested in visiting Valetta."

"The staff were very friendly and kind. Great customer service! The breakfast was good. Loved that they had freshly squashed orange juice every morning. Also loved that the hotel is inside the shopping hall, so everything is in walking distance. "
