We will continue staying here during our annual trip to Natchitoches. The rooms are big and accommodating for our family with two little kids and the included breakfast is great. The staff are really sweet and really care about the customers. We love staying here.

stuck to the floor!
this hotel has upgraded the look and wall treatments/furniture but left the old filthy looking cracking floors! floor tiles were literally cracking under our feet and were sticky-not clean at all!

Checkin was awful. They could not check me in easily even though I had already paid through hotels. Then, they double charged my incidentals and didn't refund one of them right away. The flooring in the room was filthy. Maybe stained, but shoe marks everywhere. Even though the staff was apologetic, I will not be staying there again.

our stay was good, the only thing is we thought there was a restaurant onsite and there wasn't. they did have a hot breakfast available in the morning though that was nice.

Room AC was loud and not working. Notified staff and said nothing they can do until the morning. Breakfast was terrible. No fruit, no milk, not enough variety. Eggs were raw 🙃. I hate that I wasted my point on this trashy location :/ disappointed- Holiday inns were the place to stay but never again!!!!

The entire facility was very clean. Staff was friendly and provided my husband with a toothbrush (forgot his!). My only minor issue is the building did not feel well constructed. Huge gaps around the hotel room door and the hallway floor felt like it was going to give way. Other than those minor issues, the hotel was fine.

I was disappointed in the elevator breaking down during our stay. Also, I called and asked for the 9 rooms to be put together for the kids we took to NSU for a theatre showcase and was disappointed to get 4 rooms on the second floor and 5 on the 3rd floor. The water pressure was bad in the evening and some kids didn't have hot water for their showers.

The driveway into the property is a little unusual but no big deal. However the elevator was broken and we were traveling with an baby (stroller, travel bassinet, diaper bag, etc.) so they put us into a lesser room on the first floor. It worked fine. However, they then tried to charge me in addition to what I had already paid Expedia which I did not consent to. I spent 30 minutes at the front desk trying to get it sorted out with them. Eventually, the refunded CC, but it was a big waste of time. This place was clean and had a decent breakfast. But I’d try somewhere else next time in Natchitoches. I’d recommend going into town to check it out rather the hotels by the interstate.

BED BUGS! We noticed the carpet was wet when we arrived. Thought they must have recently cleaned the carpets & let it go. We brought our luggage in & went to dinner. We got in bed ready to watch a movie & discovered dozens of bedbugs all over the sheets. We jumped up, let Gloria at the front desk know that we were leaving. Asked for a refund & was informed the refund would have to be made to Expedia. We called & emailed Expedia & the manager of the hotel. After several days, the manager (Sally Halm) returned my second call & informed me that the photo of the bedbugs I provided was not on their linens. In other words, I was lying. I was shocked to be accused of lying. Why would we get up and drive an hour away after 10 at night to pay for a 2nd hotel in one night that didn't have bed bugs. Then upon arriving home, have to sanitize every piece of clothing & personal item that was in our car before bringing it into our house. We did send the photo of the bug to a former Exterminator, who confirmed it is a bedbug & to leave immediately & sanitize everything. I have emailed Sally Halm the manager twice more & was told they cannot just give a refund to everyone who says they saw a bug. The decision to deny our request for a refund was final. I will no longer use Expedia as they did not help with the issue & I will avoid all of the hotels in this town as well.

Great Service Staff
The service staff at the hotel was very good. They called our room to check to see if the room was satisfactory and they made sure the breakfast items were being replenished in a timely manner.
