We loved our short stay at Villa Avellino. The rooms are wonderful (except for the shower which needs to be redone as it is rusted at places and some of the fixtures are broken). The location is excellent if you want to explore by foot.

View from across the street was beautiful. Staff friendly. The room needed some remodeling repairs. Needed paint... evidence of mode around terrace doors. The view from the terrace was disappointing. Problems with billing

Nice area great views ,rooms need some decor felt dusty and needed a good clean . We booked a 2 bedroom apartment which apparently does not exist ...... we got a 1 bed with a sofa bed in the living area and had to pay extra to get another room as this was not suitable for us

The view of the water from our window was spectacular. The location was great because it was close to so many places where we wanted to go and we could go out nearby at night. It was safe. The staff was great.

This classic building can do better.
Location excellent. Service indifferent. Breakfast very poor for this class hotel. e.g. no fresh bread, little fruit, small selection. The room we had had a narrow winding stair to the sleeping area; hard to negotiate with baggage and at night. Reception/public area unwelcoming.

Great stay in Pozzuoli
Quiet and peaceful stay in Pozzuoli. Everything you need in the room, except a kettle. The breakfast could have been more varied. More fruit please. The staff were wonderful :)

large and clean, comfortable, friendly staff but not organized , the location was difficult to find even with the navigator . over all it was pleasant stay and I will recommend to stay .

The apartment room was lovely, but paintwork a bit scraped and grubby. It needed a a bit of a freshen up. TV in the bedroom area had no volume, but the TV was replaced as soon as we mentioned it. It would have been helpful, when shown to our room, on arrival to be shown how the aircon etc worked, but again it was explained when we asked. Other than that, it was a lovely hotel and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was kept spotless by the chambermaid. I would certainly go back and would recommend it to friends. It was a lovely hotel.

Nice hotel close to the shore
Away from the city center and close to the shore. A very short walk down a cobblestone path takes you to the road next to the shore with a bunch of pizzerias and ice Cream shops (Gelateria). Clean rooms - we had a bi-level room with 2 baths that proved to he very helpful. The hotel staff was very helpful in our case. We had left an iPhone in the hotel arranged cab and Augustino and Claudia were great in getting the phone back to us. Note that this is north of Naples city center and so if you have to travel south to most of the tourist spots like the Amalfi coast, Sorrento, Pompeii and Erculano, you'd have to pass through Naples center anyway.

After checking in, I parked the car in the hotel car park and was told to buzz out to get out. After leaving at 0700 in the morning, I buzzed the gate and no answe! Then rang both numbers but no one answered. I parked the car and went to the reception and no one was there! I then went to the cafe asked then to open the gate. I went back to drive off and then rang the buzzer. No one opened the gate Parked the car and then went to the cafe and asked the same again! 20 minutes later and making me late. I ended up having to leave the hotel complex and then place my bag over the sensors so the gate stayed open I am unsure why they say they have a 24 hour named reception and no one is there! I asked them about an early breakfast and the hotel wouldn’t budge on it! I couldn’t even get a coffee or croissants to go! The room was upgraded but the light switches seem to be random and there is no light switch when you walk in, the bathroom have a extended fan, so at night if you use the bathroom, expect the fan to go on for another 20 minutes. The kitchen was okay with tea facilities but no milk and no coffee and also no kettle! I did ask at reception but one was not put in the room. The cafe music was very loud at night so I couldn’t have my balcony open as it left the music in. Would I stay there again No Beds are comfortable and hotel room clean! Breakfast is 0730 onwards and no change! No one on reception to let you out of the gate

Our reception operates 24h/7, our staff is available from 07:00 a.m. to 11 p.m. and there is a hall porter during the night hours. We never had complaints about disservices from our guests before. It is likely that at that time our staff was changing shift, that porter was busy with his morning duties or even that there was a malfunctioning in our electronic system, since we recently made some maintenance works. Anyways, in order to leave our guests free to get in and out anytime the like we also provide them with a code to open the gate. As well as per the breakfast, at the moment of the check in we inform all our guests that breakfast is from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. We are sorry if you were not given this information and if we have not found a staff member available when you needed. We are sure that you understand that it might have been just a case of miscommunication or bad timing. Regarding your comments about the room equipment and cleaning, we would be very happy to give you proper explanations, but unfortunately we cannot double check any disservices with our housekeepers and staff, since we can’t see neither your room number nor the dates of your stay. We are very sorry to hear that your stay has not been up to the expectations, but we appreciate your complaint and will take it as a chance to improve our service even more. Great Location
We were only there for a night at Pozzuoli at this place. Very well maintained and modern. Service was very good as well. Its only about 3 minutes from the Pier which was awesome.

We arrived at the hotel after a 13hour plane ride and a five hour traffic filled drive from Rome. Needless to say our family of four were ready to kick off our shoes. The hotel is in a great location many things you can do by walking less than 10 mins. The view is amazing and all the local people we encountered were friendly.The staff were all helpful, professional, accommodating and very easy on the eyes.

Elegant Hotel (but still missing my Hotel Rewards)
Great place with fantastic room layout. The hotel has secured parking lot. It is walking distance to the sea and many restaurants. However, I am still waiting for my Hotel Rewards after many emails and calls. Hotel.com Customer Services is very poor!!!

The best place I've stayed at in Italy
Absolutely perfect stay in August 2015. We went for a 2-floor suite with a sea view. The room was modern, comfortable and nicely decorated. The staff were very helpful. The location is perfect - a 3 minute walk to the strip, to the beach or downtown. The only minor issue was the wi-fi signal, which kept disconnecting in our room.

Beautiful apartment Convenient Location
I stayed here for eight nights and I enjoyed the stay. Lots of terrific restaurants within walking distance and a lovely view of the sea. My room was large, with a full kitchen (stove, dishwasher, refrigerator, etc.). The bedroom and bathroom were upstairs in a loft. Downstairs, there was a spacious eating area and living room. This hotel is more of a long-term apartment than a typical hotel. There is free coffee in the morning, but no breakfast. They are adding a breakfast room at the moment. Within five minutes, I could walk to the old port, the Roman ruins, the train station, and dozens of shops and restaurants. I highly recommend this hotel.

Its in a very pretty location although unfortunately the rooms do not look over the sea. I also had a problem getting back at 1am and not being able to get in nor would anyone answer the phone. After half an hour I found a side door open. Having said that the people were very nice.

Friendly welcome, smallish family hotel in beautiful villa overlooking the Bay of Baie in Pozzuoli. Light breakfast (coffee and rolls). Modern decor in old 16th c building--quite amazing update for hotel use. Quiet and comfortable, luxurious even, Sky Cable on tv, kitchenettes if you choose to eat in. Beds and bath upstairs in loft in room (30ft ceilings in the villa, makes for loft and light) so must be able to use stairs. Gated parking for drivers. I may return and use this as a week stay to see more of Naples.

Clean and modern hotel
Once you work out where the entrance is you find a contemporary, quiet and very clean hotel. Staff were polite and helpful. Supermarket nearby, good kitchen facilities, laundry room but not the cheapest, free parking on site. Open staircase within room so probably not suitable for famillies with young children. Can't comment on view like previous reviews as our room faced the car park. Obviously take pride in hotel and this is reflected in appearance and staff.
