"Lovely staff. The breakfast wasn’t good though. I read so many reviews that said it was great and the muffins were baked fresh. It was a plastic wrapped blueberry muffin, and a piece of lemon cake. Two clementines and two bananas, and 2 coffees that tasted burnt and was given 4 sugars and 4 creamers. Wasn’t too thrilled about the jacuzzi and didn’t use it. The jets weren’t the cleanest. Needs a lot of updates."

"Hotel Maria is a real gem- low-key beach front, impeccably clean with a wonderful Italian restaurant right there overlooking the beach. I happened to meet the owner and he was incredibly gracious and welcoming. The hotel staff were so accomodating to all that we needed. The breakfast & snacks and beverages they offer complimentary are a game changer and make the stay that much more relaxing. "The beds were great. The tub had not been cleaned (so we opted to shower when we got home). The people next door had a dog or two (hard to tell) that barked and whined often. We did not get much sleep. Someone in a different room pounded on the walls (meaning "shut your dogs up.") If it was a longer stay we would have requested a different room.
