"Ideal zum Entspannen. Eine tolle Aussicht von der Terrasse. Es führt die Straße zu Land's End direkt an den Fenstern vorbei. Trotzdem ist es für einen Großstädter eher ruhig. Es gibt eine Waschmaschine und eine Wäscheleine. Wir haben während dieser Station gut Tempo aus unserer Reise nehmen können und fanden Erholung. "Hotel is right on the waterfront with a big car park across the street for easy parking. Hotel is reasonably modern and well looked after. Walking distance to everything. We had an accessible (wheelchair) room and the open wetroom bathroom that has many dirty-wheeled wheelchairs rolling over it needs to be cleaned much more regularly."

"The cottage is fine and it is in a nice location BUT the details of the cottage listed on the Expedia website and Sykes Cottages are different and misleading. Expedia shows the cottage to be within the Penzance city centre & 8 minute walk from the ferry terminal. The cottage is 8 miles (13 kms.) from the Penzance city centre. The beautiful but difficult to climb down to beach at Porthchapel has now (May 2018) been sadly been swept clean of all the sand in this image by the winter storms, leaving only rocks. From this photo I estimate that a depth of 3 metres of sand has been washed away.
