"Stayed for one night at the end of a short trip to Namibia. A great experience. Lovely cabin, attentive managers and staff, super food and best of all, an unexpected surprise at breakfast! Can’t recommend the place highly enough. Ten out of ten. "

"Our accommodation was upgraded at no extra cost because on the night of our arrival the lodge wasnt fully booked, our rooms were excellent! Dinner was something else, value for money and delicious! Breakfast was also great, fresh & delicious food. Scenery is fantastic"

"Really spacious tent for four and very well equipped (except no can opener !). Massive bathroom and great catering bbq pack and potatoes salad. Only drawback was no soap or shampoo. Excellent burger in the restaurant. "

"Fantastic view over the Okavango River, very comfortable accommodation, recently renovated, great hospitality, excellent food prepared and presented by the chef, and a pool which especially kids will enjoy to refresh after an exciting day. I would not recommend to go with a standard/low clearance vehicle."

"We booked a tent room on booking but when we arrived the lady told us that the price that we pay is only for the campsite so we had to pay more to have the tent, even if it was not written like that on booking. She was really nice, the tent were comfy and the bathroom okay. The restaurant is not really a restaurant since you don’t really have a choice, no wifi when we came."

"We received a very friendly welcome! We loved the fact that the gemsbok walked passed the tent without fear, the 8 tents were spaced just far enough apart at the foot of the ancient dunes, the well-planned tent, huge bathroom and veranda with kitchen. Beautiful lounge and pool area at the lodge, where wifi is available. We were blessed with overnight rain. What a lovely experience!"

"Incredible place...peaceful and quiet, safe and secure, family-friendly, couple-friendly, such nice chalets. Shop in the front with some goods/groceries you might need, restaurant coming soon. Nice pool and outdoor hangout area. We are so glad we stayed! The night sky was amazing as well. 10/10 would recommend and stay again."

"Just incredible. The service, food, and overall experience was on point in every way. The wildlife sighting was amazing including for us black and white rhinos, elephant, giraffe and many more. Our guide Tuly was profoundly knowledgeable and it felt like we were getting a crash course in zoology and conservation on top of a really entertaining time. I only wish we could have stayed longer. "This is a wonderful place with breathtaking scenery and views. I could have spent days just looking and enjoying the peace and quiet. The breakfast and dinner was very tasty and they even considered that we are vegan. Their reforestation project is grandiose as well as what they do with the income. We enjoyed the time very much."

"There is a good bit of distance between each of the four tents, so it feels completely private. The setting is beautiful and peaceful. It’s the best of both worlds: the tent is equipped with everything you need for self-catering and braai, but you have the option of eating at the lodge restaurant too. "Etendeka offered a very different experience and one which we thoroughly enjoyed. It would not suit everyone though. The drive from the pick up point is over an hour but provided opportunities for wildlife spotting. Our tent was comfortable and as expected. All meals were eaten at one long table and the food was good and in home cooked style. The trips out, the morning walk and afternoon drive were excellent.
