"To begin with I requested 2 towels for each guest as we were staying two nights. I was told that they would be provided although normally each guest is only provided 1 towel and that they expected a "good" review for doing so. Next we were told that check in was at 4 and check out was before 10 although it clearly states check out is at 10:00 am. Loud live music played from a next door club from 6:00 PM until 12:00 AM. "I absolutely loved staying here! The onsen was perfect after a day of driving. The style of the hotel is really cool, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Motorbike parking was available and the room was comfy and warm. It's a short walk into town, but nothing too difficult. "

"Hotel was a min away from the train and bus station and access to a variety of restaurants option. We had breakfast included and they had many choices and of high quality - you should want for naught (unless perhaps have gluten problems). In the evening they serve free freshly prepared ramen upto 11pm and then afterwards instant cup noodles. The fresh cook ramen was surprisingly good. I didn’t try the cup noodles. The room was ok - comfortable and clean. This place has a public and 8 private onsen. The hotel is very busy (cater towards tour groups) so you have to line up for the private onsen. We tried number 1 and 7. 7 is better but both were nice for a soak. Overall not a luxurious hotel but a very nice/good hotel in good condition. The folks coming to this hotel as part of a tour group are lucky! "

"Nice clean hotel that is very deceiving from the outside. Excellent customer service and the private onsen was awesome. Room was huge, clean, and comfortable. Beppu Tower located directly across the street with dining options also within walking distance. Convenient parking one minute away in the outdoor parking for the mall next door. "

"We stayed Sora tradition western style, room is spacious, clean, and provides good amenities - like best face soap & moisturizer face creams, top of line hair dryer, Yukata, indoor & out door slippers, toothbrush with paste. I don’t have to pack anything. They provide for you. Only thing missing was body lotion. The indoor hot springs (in room) temperature was perfect, but outside terrace one was extremely hot, so hard to enjoyable. The Japanese style meals, the dinner and breakfast we select was 8/10. All great, but the soup wasn’t my favorite, however others might like it. In my opinion, the coffee wasn’t that great, but good selection of teas. I can’t complain the staff’s service. Top notch, they will make your stay comfortable, everyone so politely kind. So, my staying at here was best experience. Another plus things was next to Hell of Beppu and has great city view. "
