"Very clean and very comfortable. They are very vague about you putting everything back. Does it mean you have to wash all of your dishes and put them back exactly? Communication was lacking. Of the two emails I sent, I never got a response. I left some stuff there and asked if it was found and they decided not to answer me. I ended up leaving it there so I suppose someone else is not enjoying it."

"We booked the hotel the day of the trip as we had change plans due to Typhoon Haishen. When we entrance to the hotel was blocked with a rope and they did not answer the phone. There was noone to get any information, we did not get a cancellation or a notification. We were left in the typhoon with nowhere to go and struggled to find anything for hours during when the weather got really bad. "Very special property that we loved. We stayed in January and esp loved the onsen and subfloor heating. Check in was easy enough because there was the option of online pre-registration. The road to the house was windy but not too bad - note that the GPS in the rental car may not show you the way. We used Google maps and got there without difficulty. We were thankful to have a 4WD and snow tires, because there was ice on parts of the road. Highly recommend the place!"

"This was advertised as having a kitchen. Kitchen facilities are in another building that are communal. The other option is to rent a gas burner. Everything is extra (e.g. trash, gas burner). Heater for room kept turning off. Barely enough space for 3 futons. Japanese communal bathrooms near bungalows, western style in main building. We only stayed one of the two nights booked even though we did not get a refund."

"I booked a 2 night stay at Pension Flower Garden in end of November 2022. Overall, the stay was good. I booked a room with a single bed. The room came with a small TV, a small side table. "Very modern and western style - very comfortable. Next door to onsens and a super little grocery store/community centre with visitor information desk and an area to eat. It's a small point but the in-room bathroom does not offer hair conditioner (and conditioning shampoo is not an effective alternative). In such a nice hotel, why cut this corner???"

"Hotel is clean with beautiful landscape. Reception staff was patience despite the language barrier. They managed to help our friends change to a non smoking floor as the floor they were originally assigned smell of smoke from guests smoking from ground floor.
