"Rooms are well equipped with charging ports by the bedside and kitchen is well stocked with utensils and cooking equipment. Shower area is pretty tight but the toilet is kept separate which is good if you have someone showering and another person needing to use the toilet. "

"Lovely hotel located very close to the train. Breakfast is very much Japanese focussed (but also catered for western palates). Rooms are very small (a little dated but that didn’t bother us). Easy walk to the central historic town. "

This stay comes with so many extra amenities such as free yamata rental, complimentary sake, public baths etc. Also excellently located close to the station. "Great hotel in Takayama that is not too far from the station or the local areas that you would want to visit. Staff were helpful and very polite. We had a car and the use of the hotel car park was convenient- there is a small fee to pay but your space is reserved throughout your stay. Breakfast is part continental part Japanese. Would recommend the hotel if you stay in Takayama. "
