"The suite is spacious and clean. However, I didn’t like the smell in the kitchen which I believe came from the previous cooking done by the previous guests. This kitchen odor lasted from Day 1 to Day 3. It didn’t affect the smell in the bedroom anyway. I wish they could make each suite smell fresh and clean upon entering."

"This is one raggedy place. The fully equipped kitchen had no pots, pans, or dishes. There was not hot water for showers, luke warm at best. The floors were as dirty and sticky as I ever encountered. My feet were black from walking on them and I had to wipe them off before getting into the bed so not to bring trash into the bed. I think the worse was, I had to extend my stay one day. A women, Nina, came by the room and informed me that I needed to go to the front desk and resign papers...

"Sheets were stained, old towels, roaches on floor. Room smelled like cigarette and really poorly maintained building."

"The front desk associate that checked me in (name started with a T?) was absolutely wonderful!!!! She was pleasant and efficient not only with me but with everyone else that I saw her help."

"Very nice facility, rooms are nice and comfortable. The common areas are often refreshed with some type of smell good. Although the room had a staler smell, after the first night, the room was refreshed with the signature smell good. Breakfast was pretty good; the bacon was nice and crispy. Staff I encountered was very helpful and pleasant."

"The hotel would have been ok but we were given a room key that opened a room that someone was staying in....IT WAS SCARY !! We go an upgrade to a suite but it was still scary... The couches needed to be replaced cause they were ragged."

"The hotel was clean however the elevator wasn’t really working and the breakfast was subpar. As we were entering our room, someone was coming out of our room, which was a little concerning. He identified himself as “pest control”, which was also concerning! He didn’t tell us what he was doing in there, but did say that there were no pests. Overall, we would not choose to stay at this hotel again."

"We had the pleasure of staying at the Phoenix DC. We really enjoyed our visit; hotel has outstanding food. The room and door attendants were very friendly and helpful. They have a little mini coffee station open 24/7 and deliver bottled water to your room daily. Location is outstanding, very close to Union Station for transportation needs, the U.S. Capital is on the same street."
