Dunes Village Resort

Dunes Village Resort

8/10 Good
"If you are looking for modern and up to date, this is not your place. If you are looking for family friendly, this is it! We actually wore out our kids. They played on the beach, went shark tooth and shell hunting. When they needed a break from the beach they went to pools, lazy rivers and slides. Having the option to get out of the sun was amazing. When they were done with the water they played ping pong and chess. We booked a 1 bedroom and it was plenty of space for the 4 of us. Having a kitchen and laundry is a definite plus for us. We had a couple issues with the room when we first checked in. The staff was friendly and quick to fix what they could."

The Breakers Resort

The Breakers Resort

8/10 Good
"The property was nice for the price. It’s an old hotel that was renovated with a decent budget. We stayed in room 412 at the Sailfish Tower Bad: I don’t like that the ac units were by the windows and right be side the beds. The floors were cleaned before we got there and upon checking into the room they were still wet. Some of the water absorbed into the spacing between the vinyl and if you walked on those areas water would come through. When you turned the AC off it started to smell mildewy. A few of the pillow cases had rust spots on them. The bathroom towels were not a great quality (really thin). Good: Location! Great views of the beach and proximity to a ton of amenities. Starbucks, Ben and Jerry’s and plenty of restaurants. The kitchen was nice and clean with good appliances. The bathroom setup was nice too. The staff was extremely welcoming too. The pools were really nice too."

"The rooms were clean. The pool area is very nice and I enjoyed the spa. There are not a lot of food options. There are a few different restaurants, but they all basically serve the same food. That would be my only complaint."
