"The room was very clean. The front desk staff person, however, was extremely rude. The checkin was right at 4:00, even though they were not full and rooms were available sooner. When I asked about waiting on the property until the room was ready, the front desk staff person told me I couldn't do that because I wasn't a registered guest. Then she added, "and you can go into the pool area." I wasn't going to the pool anyway."

"Hotel on the directory of Historic places, and so this is not one of the modern hotels along the road. However, the room was clean, bed comfortable, friendly and helpful staff and stunning views of the lake. Very relaxed vibe made for a special nights visit."

"The hotel is in a lovely location and is very pretty. However it was not very clean. Our room had a sock in a corner and hair in the shower. The rockers and chairs on balconies were covered in cobwebs where you could not sit."

"The only bad experience I had was the cooling air was not properly working. I would wake up in the mornings and it was hot. The air had stopped working. Everything else was perfect! Very clean and items furnished that I was not have thought would be, etc..trash bags, paper towels. We had a very nice stay! Would like to stay again if air is fixed."
