The décor is bold but actually works really well as in contrast with the old building. The rooms are much more serene in tone. We didn't eat in the restaurant, but we had some drinks in the bar which were delicious (although a little pricey!). "one of the best hotel room, i have ever stayed. the lobby is nice, the room is huge and even nicer. they refill the water, but towards the end of our stay, they no longer refill the snack. otherwise the room is nice as per picture, bonus it is just 3 mins walk from the train station, so if your journey is late at night, this hotel is just close by to the train station and royal mile."
