"This place is stunning, simply put. They thought of everything - none of the details were missed. Hairdryer in room, spacious bathrooms and spotless rooms, lovely breakfast included. "Rooms were good, nice pool and beautiful view. We ate in the restaurant 4 times and the food was okay but you almost had to beg for a second glass of wine , never was it offered or were you asked if you want more. I think wine should be plentiful in D’ouro valley!"

"Our stay at Quinta Da Marka was exceptional. This centuries-old vineyard overlooks the Douro River, with sweeping views in every direction. Unless you want to hang by the pool, there is absolutely nothing to do at this hotel. There is no nearby town to walk around , only the hotel surrounded by beautiful wine country. Also it’s a harrowing mountainous drive to get to this hotel. The roads are barely wide enough for a small SUV."
