"Hotel is in the historic centre next to presidential palace. Staff - the best I have encountered in Ecuador. Friendly, helpful and kind to my little boy. Food was traditional and delicious. "We really enjoyed our stay. We had the Amazon (luxury) room and it was great. Loved the bed ! Firm and really comfortable! Soaker tub and complimentary wine was also nice. Freddy in the restaurant and all staff were great. We walked to centre of old town from the hotel within 10-15. We felt safe in and around old town Quito. Previously we were in Brazil, so this was a nice change. While elevation isn’t super high (2800m approx) we did get altitude sickness for about 18 hours. We dint...
