"This place was lovely and if you are going to Lake Garda and cannot decide where to stay pick here. Rooms were nicely decorated with a warm personal touch so it did not feel like a institutional hotel. It is easy to walk to shops and restaurants."

"The room was very nice and clean. We had a very large balcony with a partial view of the lake. The hotel came with free breakfast and they had a very large selection of food to choose from. The restaurants nearby were also all very good. They had a pool that we had access to but you had to walk about 5 minutes. The staff were all amazing and they always were happy to help with any questions you had. You would not be disappointed with Hotel du Lac."

"Fabulous belle époque hotel with perfect service that isn’t overbearing. Absolutely stunning grounds and art nouveau interior. The pool was refreshing and relaxing, the views were gorgeous. Great breakfast with a lake view. This really feels like traditional high end lake living. The history is fascinating too—check out the Salo museum for an hour while you are here. Only complaint was the air conditioning couldn’t quite keep up with the extreme heat wave."
