Not only did she acclimate us to the hotel, she helped carry our bags, and she helped plan the things we did while we were in the area. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant which was super. "The hotel was just as I remembered it. Beautiful rooms looking out in a courtyard that leads to a very nice swimming pool. "This is an oasis in the middle of Sarlat. The hotel is gorgeous with beautiful decor and very historic. We loved learning about the building. The personnel were so lovely. "This is a motel style hotel on the outskirts of Sarlat. The rooms are spacious and well equipped with a nice outside terrace. The pool area is very clean with sunbeds. Breakfast was excellent and the owners very helpful. Only downside is that the location is up a steep hill from the town so walking back at night is a trek ,especially as no taxi service. If happy to drive there are plenty of free car parks on the edge of the old town."
