"it was a pleasant stay. great pool. probelm with kitchen tap was fixed staight away. There was mould in bathtub / shower, which should be cleaned up. Parking close to your unit was hit or miss, plus very small turning area if unable to park close."

"Set in the scenic hilltop town of Venasque, Provence, this hotel is a gem. It a picturesque, peaceful and cozy place to stay. The owners, Sophie and Jerome, are the most helpful and attentive a guest could wish for. Probably the best hotel I’ve stayed in on this three week trip through southern France. I look forward to staying for much longer than my brief stay."

The warm welcome, the cicadas singing, the feeling to be in nature, the heat of Provence outside (with AC in rooms), the pool, and being just minutes away from Avignon festival by taxi or bicycle make it a very highly desirable place to stay when visiting Avignon. "This is exactly the kind of place you hope to find, but never seem to be able to - truly kind and helpful host, clean and spacious (and beautiful) room with gorgeous views over the vineyards, and an amazing breakfast (homemade jams and granola (!), as well as the best local breads, cheeses, and meats - truly a standout) each morning.
