"The owners are very attentive, and present the Ryokan as your being a guest in their home. The traditional tatami is clean and comfortable. Lots of art and Japanese mementos all over, make you feel that you are in aJapanese home. Hot baths too!"

"Clean, simple and cosy. Brilliant location and easy enough to find and check-in.
On the smaller side and a bit tight for taller westerners but if you’re looking for an easy and convenient place to crash after exploring nakano and other Tokyo wards it’s a great option. "

"The staff was nice but the facility is old and moldy everywhere. We couldn’t find any other hotels that were available to we stayed but I don’t think I would stay there again because of how old and moldy it was. "

"Excellent stay, the bathroom was fabulous with a very enjoyable bath- loved the toilet too. The room is tiny but functional. It was well equipped for a few nights in Tokyo. The view was great and the hotel is extremely central with everything on your doorstep. "
"The room was clean, but smaller based on western standards, but had lounge area to hang out on 2nd floor and main floor...but they provied bottles of water and fresh towels daily. Loved the vibe at the hotel...music, had DJ on certain nights, Amazing Bakery, Coffee bar, and Tappas Lounge was excellent...locals visited who did not stay at the hotel. Little further from main area of Shinjuku and train stations...so depends on your preference. "
"Stayed three nights as a family of three. Perfect location (direct Narita airport shuttle), great breakfast, awesome staff service. Room is small, typical in Tokyo. "
"The room is big enough for a family of 5.
Location is good - only one bus ride to Shibuya.
I am happy with the amenities. It would have been nice if a dryer is included but I am not complaining.
Smooth check in and check out process.
Definitely recommended."
"I had a very pleasant stay at HOTEL emisia Tokyo Tachikawa. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy, and communication was smooth thanks to a translator device the staff had available. The staff were also very helpful in assisting with onsite parking.
The room was clean, tidy, and comfortable. Breakfast was a nice mix of traditional Japanese options as well as a good selection of items for international guests. Overall, a well-run hotel with great service, and I would gladly stay here again."
