"This property has been slipping down over the years. Rooms are getting old and not kept up. Tiles in the bathroom chipped. Dirty tissues laying on the floor at the bed post. Dusted on the high spots. Met cleaning crew getting on the elevator as we got off. They left the cleanig cart in middle of the hallway. The cleaning cart had the rooms master key attached to a neck lanyard sitting on top in plain view. I could have taken it and entered every room. Serious safety issue. No streetlights in...

"Brasstown has always been a favorite place for me to go to. The views and the amenities are wonderful. The food is excellent. I know it’s undergoing a renovation which is badly needed and that’s why my score is not a five star. It looks tired in a lot of the rooms, my sink was rusted. I think you also need a different brand of coffee in the rooms. Dark magic by Green Mountain is not always preferred but more of a medium roast."

"Cathy was very friendly, welcoming and accommodating at the desk upon arrival. She definitely adds the small town, homey feel to the place. Due to them not having someone working in the lobby at all times, you are unable to get into the lobby without a code. We did not have that code sent automatically to us, and had to request it. "I loved sitting out from our balcony looking at the lake it was so beautiful and nice and peaceful. Our suite was facing the lake which was a must. I loved our suite it was a one bedroom with full kitchen it was a cute little setup. It was just my husband and I which was perfect."

"Nice quiet room with a wooded view and a nice carport, and working Wifi. SImple amenities in town, but the grocery was well stocked seeing as there was a grill with each unit and a bigger than mini fridge. Would recommend if you want an off the main drag and less commercialized experience."
