We really enjoyed our stay here. From the moment we arrived, the people were welcoming and genuinely friendly. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, making it easy to relax. The restaurant was excellent, with plenty of traditional Bavarian meals and some fantastic steaks. Having Augustiner on tap was the perfect bonus. The location is hard to beat – right at the southern tip of Lake Starnberg and within easy reach of the German Alps. It’s a great base for exploring the area or simply enjoying the scenery. Breakfast was another highlight, and that’s saying something as I’m not usually a breakfast person!

Positiv: Friendly Staff,effictive quick Check-In and Check Out,Food in the Restaurant(Diner and also Breakfast) Starnberger See just 5 min walk away Negativ: Only stairs to reach the first floor,Wlan signal in the room(we had a corner room) very weak..no signal at the desk and bed,just right behind the entrance door mattress of the bed was too soft actually any move made some noise Check out very early (10am) No opaque curtains..so you wake up with the sunrise

I was a little disappointed when shown our room, and I did ask to move but advised the hotel was full. When I first booked, the hotel suggested I upgrade for a better room with balcony. Ok, so a small balcony was there, did I say small, plus we were in the attic with sloping ceilings that showed all the head impacts from previous occupants, now mine and my wife's are added for posterity. And it was a dark room. That said the owners daughter was very friendly and helpful, she and her grandpa helping to get the car charger working. Nice enough but...

Great place

We spent four nights here and enjoyed it very much. The staff/owners were very nice, helpful and service minded and the restaurant had great food. It was exactly what we were hoping for.

Nice place on the lake

Lovely, very simple place right off Lake Starnberg. They were closing up for the season, so minimal staff but friendly and helpful. Restaurant is ok, but I'd guess its not the place to eat if other options are open.

Hotel empfehlenswert - Ort nur zum durchfahren

Die Unterkunft kann man sicher empfehlen. Sauber, freundlich, grosse Zimmer. Vom Steakhouse hatten wir uns mehr erhofft. Wenig Auswahl und hohe Preise (> 30 EUR); haben uns dann für Schinkennudeln und Fleischkäse entschieden - Portionen könnten grösser sein. Den Ort und die Umgebung braucht man nicht besuchen. Wir waren hier und in Tutzing, kein Zugang zum See, Strandpromenade nicht vorhanden. Schöne Altstadt? Sucht man vergebens. Da gibt es schönere Destinationen.
