"Firstly, this hotel may look like a motel but cleanliness is their priority. Next, their service is impeccable. The rooms may be small but the bed is so comfortable. If you get a chance, you must take some time to visit their mini museum and schedule a tour with Uncle Ron who is so passionate about his culture and sharing knowledge about Hawaii. "The bed is good. AC unit is a small window unit that has buttons you have to make guess(nothing is marked). AC unit is loud when it’s running. It’s a good location for everything. The island is small anyway"

"Took 30 min. to tell front desk we were turning in our towel cards at the end of our stay. They need more than 2 people at the front desk during peak hours. Our room was very clean and tidy every day."

"Probably the nicest view I have ever experienced at a resort. The entire property is stunning. The food was excellent , especially so at Welina Terrace. They could use a little work on the service, no major complaints, but a few hiccups. The staff is very friendly and makes every effort for there guest's. The rooms are nice, but are quite small. For me, the beds were too soft. The views are so stunning at this property , that any minor deficiencies are immediately forgotten."

"Great Beach and Pool"

"Good location to be central to Kauai and airport access. Can drive up north or south easily. The rooms were clean but dated. The same with the bathrooms. We came when they were doing updates( may 2026)so areas were closed off to us that would have been nice to utilize when we were there. The pool areas had closures and the gym had an odor, maybe from the construction. Unknown and no AC. Spa was out of the way to try and use due to construction so it wasn’t inviting to try and book. Only issue is nene poops but staff does work to control it. beautiful location. although you must drive to beaches. It is nice having their market to get essentials and small food items. Restaurant is expensive and sub par. Good places to eat in near by areas and in Hanalei Bay. Also the property has well maintained as far as clean.. BBQs outside to use. Great for dinners. "They were very accommodating. We needed a ground floor room because we were traveling with seniors with physical issues. Everything worked out great and having the full kitchen allowed us to work around some diet restrictions and save a little money. The hot tub jets didn't seem to be working but Everything else was great. Local shopping and the ocean is close."

"The place is just okay, but for the price you pay, it gets disappointing: 1. The room does not match their photo on the website, and it's way off. Double-check user-uploaded photos. There is ocean view in the room for sure. 2. "The property was very well maintained. Staff were friendly and helpful. We had an ocean view from our lanai. The pool was nice and easily accessible. Located in a somewhat central location for island travel. We would stay here again."

"Staff and property conditions were great. The issue I had was that you can hear the room next door clearly, and the people were awake and making noises at 5:00 in the morning. Also, there was no early check in and check out was at 10:00 and there is no flexibility for a late check out. Sadly, this was one of the few places that was not worth the amount paid."
