"I enjoyed both the location and the charm of the Hood River Hotel. As the hotel is over a hundred years old it's layout and amenities brought out feelings in me from a bygone era! The breakfast that I had was delightful with a hearty selection on the menu and it was tasty! Unfortunately, trying to get a morning cup of coffee in my room was impossible as trying to brew a cup was a challenge that 'bested' me! "We stayed at the Erwin cabin, the cabin has a nice cozy feel and the amenities are wonderful, the cabin was nice and clean and it loved that firewood was available, communication with staff was easy and friendly they gave us lots of helpful information. Overall made for a very nice glamping trip. I would highly recommend going! "

"Apparently, you are not allowed to stay at this hotel if you live in the same town. The only place it says that is on their main website so if you book through a 3rd party vendor, you will not know that. Only found out when I tried to check in at 10 PM!!!!"

"Love this place and happy to be going there since it opened over 30 years ago It’s changed overtime with multiple different owners. Overall, this pace is still to out liking despite lack of the woodburning for our place, the resort fee and more recently the parking fee. In this particular case, the checkout staff was rude. "Beautiful location! Clean comfortable rooms! Clean bathroom, no weird stuff on sheets or floor. Would stay again!!"

"Clean rooms even though a bit dated. The complimentary breakfast was perfect and everything was quiet so we slept great. My only complaint was that it was difficult to open the bathroom door once you closed it and I thought I might have to sleep in there when I couldn't get it open in the middle of the night! Overall 4 out of 5 stay and definitely cant beat the price!"
