"We had the most wonderful stay at Blackwell House in Scarva! From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome — nothing was too much trouble. The house itself is absolutely beautiful, full of charm and character, with every little detail thought of to make guests feel at home. The food was incredible (and plentiful!) and the rooms were spotless, cosy, and luxurious all at once. It’s one of those rare places where you can truly switch off and relax, and yet still feel utterly spoiled....

"Room was toasty warm and very clean and layout good. Lovely sash old fashioned window. Loved decor and furnishings of mirror lighting in bathroom having big Christmas tree right outside window wintery day. Girls in room next door did wake me 1-2am with some noise though had peaceful cosy sleep otherwise great spot location so central in Moira. Will recommend to friends and family lovely ambience throughout house. Great time had Thanks"

"Loved the location, quiet and lovely grounds. Was quite far from any towns, so if that is important, it might be something to consider. Not enough towels. Tiny kitchen area. All bedrooms and the only bathroom were all up a huge flight of stairs and the beds were very uncomfortable. Very pricey for what was offered. Would get unaffordable quickly if you stayed for very long. But it was a lovely home in a lovely area and very quiet and clean. "

"Booked a short stay and chose Crockgarve after reading the reviews. To be honest it seemed too good to be true but I am thrilled to be proven wrong. #BvSAstro I was lucky enough to catch the Aurora putting on an awesome display in the fields behind our house. The tree is a traditional Fairy Tree that has been here since before my grandparents time and woe betide anyone who causes harm to the Fairy Tree! Folklore predicts a sad end to that person.
