"This was a lovely stay. It was the end of our two week trip, so we enjoyed relaxing and watching the wildlife. The room was huge and the porch very comfortable. We heard howler monkeys and parrots, saw toucan and hummingbirds all from the porch. Only ate one meal there but it was yummy and food came out quickly. It was fun exploring the capital city for lunch and going to the market. We missed the office, but it was totally our fault. Go up the stairs to the right of the parking lot by the flags and horse sculpture. WiFi not great but that gives you a chance to unplug and enjoy the rainforest. "

"Breakfast was very fresh and well presented and served. Room was clean and well serviced. All the staff were very helpful, friendly and welcoming with a very refreshing drink served on arrival. We didn’t use the spa but enjoyed the pool. The shuttle service was also convenient as we didn’t have a car. A great stay - thank you!"

"We enjoyed our time here! Our family of five stayed comfortably in the “one room family suite” which had a mini fridge and a microwave. The grounds have beautiful landscaping and the pool is very nice. This was a great spot for a home base while exploring all the ruins. "

"Calico Jack's in a hidden gem in Belize! You really feel like you are in the jungle on their lush grounds. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and they clearly care about their guests. We loved the activities they offer, such as the zip lining only a 10 min walk from our room. Be sure to stay for breakfast and order the Stuffed Fry Jacks, they were the best we had in Belize! Our room was perfect for our large family and included three separate bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The roads leading to Calico Jack's are a bit all terrain, so we recommend AWD to get there in the rainy season. "
