"The room was clean and well serviced. Our only complaint was with the shower over the bath. As older people, showers over baths are not the best but they would be helped if the were a vertical grab bar to steady oneself. The provision of a grab bar for the bath is all vwry well but support when using the shower seems to have been forgotten. Breakfast was good and the staff there helpful."

"Breakfast was served in the main hotel, as the breakfast sometimes served in PAD for Manor House guests was closed. Breakfast was brilliant and sausages a stand out. Four poster room in the Manor House was great, nicely decorated and comfortable. Only niggle was getting ice from both room service and main hotel bar was near impossible. The handbook in the room said ice machines on every floor, which was clearly only the main hotel and not the Manor House. Tried then getting ice from room service who sent only an ice bucket pointless. Then went to the main hotel bar Merlin’s where bar staff questioned me where the ice was going. I’ve never had to justify why or where I wanted ice in a hotel. Use of the forum spa was fantastic and both relaxing and enjoyable. Lots of space and wasn’t too busy through our stay which was a bonus. Overall a great stay and would highly recommend to all."

"Very disappointed with the parking, we were charged an additional £20+ just to park our car, after already paying in full for the room. Furthermore, we had a room with a “double bed” which was as many hotels have, two single beds put together. This was not done well and we found a huge gap in the middle of both beds throughout the night, causing us to push the beds back together only for it to happen 2 hours later in the night. Disappointment based on the quality of the rooms and the hotel location which really makes you think this hotel is worthwhile."
