I did not stay there. I booked the room, it advrrtised freeparking,but ghe free parking was street parking opposite the hotel. No recrption or motel staff with available. It was street level curbside electronic checkin. The total experience was devoid of any human/staff contact. I eventually found a phone number to ring and cancel as i had paid by credit card all in all a horrible experience, particularly having to leave my car with belongings parked out on the street not even reasonably close or monitorable from the rooms i would suggest. I bpoked into another place and it was exemplary

Hi Andrew,Thankyou for your feedback, We are sorry to hear about your experience, Our parking is directly in front of the Mount Isa Police station and we have never had an instance of a Break Inn from the carpark recorded. Our staff are available 24/7 By phone if any issues or problems arise with our automated check in system.

I would have liked the convenience of somewhere to safely store luggage while waiting for check-in and after checkout. In my case, because I arrived and departed by train I had to wait for at least 4 hours prior to check -in and a similar length of time after checkout. An outside storage facility for my luggage would have been very beneficial.

I had a flight cancelled late on a Friday night, the ability to book into accommodation last minute, late on a Friday night was made extremely easy & stressfree by Icon on Isa! Love my stays here.

No parking is unacceptable. Need to carry one's luggage across the (busy) street. First time checking in on arrival is complicated , especially for elderly. Location is difficult to find. We have had much better for quite a bit less (money).

check-in/out with a machine.
it is contactless check in. you checked-in with a machine, I did not like it. I like talk with people. I do not want this technology in future. Room is clean. you only can park your car on street. traffic noise.

Clean and tidy, just a pity there are no reception staff to chat to about good places to eat. I found it strange and wouldn’t stay there again for this reason.

Great stay, would stay again
Stay was great. Hotel was lovely and let us check in early. Only negative was no elevator to take luggage upstairs, and the bar fridge was small and the freezer didnt work and was iced up. Would definetly stay again. Thankyou

Great hotel in awesome spot
Beautiful place to stay - excellent location. Walking distance to pretty much everything. Police station across the road, so very secure. Gym next door with terrific facilities. Great staff, very helpful and responsive. Bed is super comfy, the apartment is beautifully clean and has great amenities. Will stay here again.

The property was clean, modern and effective. It was easy to acces, with all the amenities you could require for a short stay in Mt Isa. I could not rate this property highly enough. I can’t say the same about the other properties in Isa.

This property is unique - there is no reception / check-in and check-out is super easy. Very new concept which I loved. No room keys, only passcodes to get into the building and your room. Only downfall was the shower - water pressure was non-existent! Besides that, everything else in this motel was great! Close to the gym too!

Service cannot be rated as you do not see or speak with anyone. Location is very good, carpet in hallways and stairs starting to wear and very grubby in the room. No onsite parking and walls very thin....can hear next door intimately. Would think the price could be a little cheaper given the reduced overheads.

Close to all necessities, woollies a short walk away. Having a gym underneath was an added bonus. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Room was modern, clean and comfortable I will stay here again. Staff were accommodating and lovely to interact with. Thank you for your hospitality I really enjoyed my time here.

There were no staff, “free parking” that was advertised was only 2 spaces that we could see and was alway occupied by people using the gym, but having no staff, there was no one to control it. Entry and exit were not clear and confusing at best. I get the concept, but it’s not for me, this would be my last choice is accommodation in Mt Isa in the future

Centrally located accommodation in the heart of town. Self check-in machine was effortless, and keyless access to rooms with a pin code is a great idea.
