"Staff were excellent. I found that I lost my passport when I was checking in. They helped to call my last hotel, seeked for their help to the room I stayed lastly, and arranged with them to send it back by courier. Thank you very much for their nice help. BTW, the local "taksashi" crab at nearby restaurant is super super oishii!! Must try!!"

"I was a bit worried leading up to the trip about how to get there but they had some pretty good instructions on their website. They have a free shuttle that comes to the Shuzenji station about every hour or 2 (timetable is on their site) so all you need to worry about it getting to Shuzenji station which you can figure out using Google Maps. "For me, this was a piece of pure indulgence. It was a calm place, somewhere to relax and recharge. The breakfasts were exquisite. No dinner on offer during my stay (2nights) but the recommended restaurant (sushi restaurant) was very special. The town was quiet and very calm and if you're prepared to walk a little (taxi or bus it if not), there are great views of Mt Fuji San to be had. Highly recommended. "
