"We reserved a Spa Suite for $425 USD - upon arrival, the assigned room was tucked in the back corner of the property and was very, very tiny with a large tub on the outside deck - certainly not a room that should be advertised as a "suite". Even worse, the only view from the room/deck was looking at the backside of another building and the air conditioning units for each room. We asked to be moved to another room, but unfortunately, the property was completely booked so they could not move us....

"We stayed in room 1207. It was very, musty and damp smelling. The shower leaked onto the bathroom floor and as it costs $20 to replace towels they were wet for our stay unless you wanted to do washing. The kitchen amenities were extremely basic and the TV postion is not viewable from bed..... something that is nice when having a Nana nap on holidays. The outdoor spa wasn't clean. There was 2 cheap broken hair dryers in the bathroom and with so much water on the floor it didn't feel safe to use...

"A great location to stay if you are exploring the Daintree or taking a Daintree River cruise. The ammenities are clean and the pool is superb. The have licenced food vans on site, open daily for breakfast, coffee, dinner or a drink. We stayed in the tents, and they are lockable and are good value for the price you pay. (A few points to note: If you are staying here and need to use the Daintree River ferry, the ferry is $57 return for a standard vehicle. The Daintree ferry is about 10 minutes...

After much communication with Expedia, the owners of the hotel turned up the temperature on the pool. "We stayed in Mantra for a week and loved it. A large well decorated apartment with views over the inlet, so close to shops and restaurants, and great facilities for travellers on the go. Equipped kitchen and washing machine were a welcome surprise. It was very peaceful given the central location, and we received a warm welcome on arrival. Unit had a large bed, double sofa bed, kitchen, dining table, large balcony, jacuzzi bath and shower. Parking was provided free in the underground car park....
