Quiet inn not far from Amboise

This inn is quiet in a small town near Amboise. Our room was quiet and comfortable. The A/C worked great for the warm evenings. The front desk was helpful making reservations and assisting our visit.

Great place to stop close to Tours!

Excellent property in a small village. Have stayed here three times & always a pleasure to do so. Dinner is expensive but very good quality - not much else nearby... so treat yourself! Breakfast is excellent - great choices, plenty to have. Maybe not as good as previously... but still very good. The onsite spa / pool is lovely... as are the gardens. If you are travelling north or south past Tours... this is a great place to stop!

Very nice place to stay... close to Tours & Blois / Orleans, if heading north or south from the UK to the the south of France. Really great food & service. Very nice indeed!

Sauna was broken that day but the steam room and pool were great temperatures and condition. No vegetarian options whatsover meant had to drove out. Room would have been 4* except someone had smoked in it some point in its past...easily dealt with by the window open- overall a great stay

The property itself was a beautiful setting for a spa and the staff wonderful. The restaurant. "L'Ardoise Saveurs des Thomeaux" was PHENOMENAL. You could order multiple courses with different options. We were so glad to have stayed there despite the challenges. One, being wifi. The wifi by the restaurant was amazing. Our bedroom being in a very old century building, couldn't access the wifi we needed so we didn't have any during our stay while in the room. Also, although the bathrooms are modern, there was mold along the trim and on the shower stall floor and the carpeting was extremely dirty. I still would recommend the hotel for it's fine dining alone. One of our favourite memories in France. Perhaps an update to the carpet and replacement of trim in washroom would refresh the room we stayed in to be a more fresher experience.

Déplacement professionnel 2 jours 1 nuit sur Amboise. Le stationnement se fait dans une cour intérieure. Nos chambres étaient des cottages (très spacieux avec un second couchage en mezzanine) mais nous étions seuls chacun dans notre cottage. Accès à un espace spa, offrant accès à une piscine, sauna & hammam. Thé à disposition. Literie confortable. Calme. Restaurant sur place propose une carte condensée, gage de "fait maison" avec 4 entrées, 4 plats et 4 desserts. Plateau de fromage bien garni. Le petit déjeuner est d'un bon rapport qualité-quantité-prix. TOP. A recommander si vous passez sur Amboise.

Globalement le cadre est agréable, le bâtiment principal est très joli ; mais les autres bâtiments sont vieillissants et manquent cruellement de rafraîchissement, nous étions dans les cottages… Côté restauration : rien de spécial, pas de coup de foudre. Nous avons en revanche beaucoup apprécié le Spa (massage en duo et l’accès sauna hamman piscine) : à faire !!!

Bon séjour dans l'ensemble. Un bon dîner lors ce séjour. Nous avons dormi dans la chambre 403. Le seul bémol l'isolation du plafond. Le déplacement de l'occupant de l'étage faisait même vibrer le miroir de la porte de la salle d'eau. C'était inédit. L'hôtesse d'accueil a été informé et nous pensons fera suivre. En espérant que le nécessaire sera fait. Nous comptons revenir dans cet établissement.
