"It was a great central location to base out of. I had a waterview room, and was very happy I paid extra for it. The deck overlooking the water was very nice. It would have been nice to have a cental gathering place to get breakfast, coffee, etc., but that's not really what this place is about. The units have their own kitchen, so you can go buy groceries and prepare food yourself. The closest town is Leknes, about a 10 minute drive which has lots of options for dining, grocery stores, etc. The bedroom was one single bed and two bunk beds. The beds were comfortable and I liked that they had blackout curtains to keep the midnight sun out in June. Also, they have plenty of places to charge your electric vehicle which was very convenient. My unit was a bit hot, even though I turned the heat registers down, it didn't seem to help much, so I opened the sliding glass door to the deck to let fresh air in. Enjoyed the heated floor in the bathroom! It would be great if the sofa in the living area was full sized so you could lay comfortably or sleep on it while enjoying the view. All in all, we had a great 3 nights here and would recommend it to others. Especially good for a small family or 3 friends."
