The staff was nice. The place was cleaned.. The restaurant were good. The breakfast was delicious. The surroundings couldn’t be any better.
It was just a perfect stay
The staff at this hotel was incredibly nice and helpful including carrying luggage to my room. The front desk clerk was so sweet and directed me to locations within walking distance. Food and service in restaurant both were excellent. You must try the fish stew.
Based on whats available in the area this is the best hotel available. There are no elevators so lugging two heavy suitcases up to the second floor was a challenge. Staff was accommodating and willing to assist. Good location with restaurants and stores within walking distance.
The hotel is in an older building that has been nicely updated. Note no elevator. Rooms are smallish but well appointed. Comfortable beds! Bathroom is very clean; shower only. A short walk to the main street, and other shops and restaurants. The dinner and breakfast here are very good. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Everyone speaks English well, which I greatly appreciated.

Liked: Cleanliness
Disliked: Staff & service
Our room was clean but basic - no safe or tea/coffee facilities in the room itself. The hotel looked a little on the tired side. There was no lift available if you are on the 1st floor, something to bear in mind if you are carrying your luggage up the stairs. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice. On our first night the restaurant had a notice to say that they were full (although only one long table occupied the restaurant!) - something another reviewer has previously commented on. Staff were not particularly sociable or welcoming especially in the breakfast area. Another thing to note if you have a car is that you will be charged for the time your vehicle is parked in their car park and if you’re there for a couple of nights, this can mount up.
The restaurant doors are in the hallway with rooms and the entire place smelled like oily fish. Also the restaurant was loud until late in the evening. People were outside the entrance smoking and talking late so we had to shut our window which was the only source of cooling. Only good thing was nice staff.
Charging for when you are staying there is insane. 2 times we came for dinner and the restaurant was closed because of private functions and this was not communicated until you came for dinner.
