"We had an excellent stay at Villa Orquidea and still had more places on our list after a week in Merida. Our hosts Griselda, Sonia & Denise were very helpful with ideas for restaurants, things to see and private drivers. There are so many good restaurants! Breakfast was delightful including home-made banana bread, though we mostly ate light. "

"The accommodations were wonderful, as was the staff. They were some of the most gracious people that I've ever met. The owner wrote me a beautiful note welcoming me, and it was made even better with the sweet treats that she provided me from her bakery. I will always stay at the Tree House Hotel when in Mérida. The customer service rivals any of the big hotels. They even remembered that I liked bacon. Sounds insignificant but it meant a lot to me. Stay, you'll thank me later. 💕"
