"Well I would have gave it 5 stars but on checking in after 11pm the bathroom sink was clogged, and I still dished out over $300 bones. I feel for a resort the rooms should be checked out for functionality on every time someone leaves. "

"This was our first time visiting Birch Bay. Had a great stay at this hotel. Everything was clean and well taken care of, and the staff was very nice.
The unit was huge and had a fully stocked kitchen. Our kids loved the outdoor pool, and the hot tub was a nice bonus. The location is great—right by the water, close to some eating places, and a short drive to Birch Bay State Park. This place met all our expectations and even more. I would recommend it to anyone visiting the area."

"Apparently, I went in an off-season time. There were no amenities . Register your room online ahead of time there’s no Internet service. I had to keep driving back into town and there are no restaurants local so pack a lunch pack a dinner pack of breakfast.But WOW. It was so worth it! I shall return. Better prepared"

"Our unit overlooks the water. Kitchen is fully equipped and it would be great for families who love to cook their own meals. The front desk staff is very friendly and gave great suggestions for first time visitors like us. I love gardens and I think they just need to upkeep some of the plants to give the courtyard a better appeal. Did not find a walkway from the property grounds to the street which is too bad because this is located right on the edge of the town area. Overall though, great place and great staff and we would definitely stay here again when visiting the island."
