Hotel Dekat Montrose Saloon

"The best thing about this motel is definitely the price. It’s also relatively easy to get to and is approximately a 40 minute drive from downtown Chicago. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The motel does require you to climb outdoor metal stairs that are quite steep, so if you have difficulty walking or climbing, that would be a challenge. The room was clean but a little worn. But it served the purpose of an affordable, clean, safe, friendly room to sleep. We were in Chicago...

"Excellent stay. Away from the busy areas. Nice location though. Hotel was very peaceful and helpful"

"Loved plenty of parking, room cleaned every day and breakfast included. Would love to have a few throw pillows and blankets in the living area. Would love to have coffee in the lobby earlier than 7:30."

"I like that it had a balcony food choice wasn’t my type of style end up ordering food off of site but definitely had all the amenities for you to be ready for the next day. Will be staying again little bit pricey for a short weekend stay but I will definitely be coming back. Very great part of the town hope to own my own own home in this place one day."

"Clean room. Friendly staff."

"It was exactly what we needed for an overnight stay. Everything very very clean, friendly front desk man, and cheaper than anywhere else by hundreds of dollars. If you just need to stay one night this place is perfect. Only a 10 minute uber to the Aargon Ballroom."

"Very unique property in a nice quiet neighborhood. Valet was excellent!! Would definitely go back."

"Great property! Very much enjoyed our stay!"

"Super clean. Super views. Super amenities. Will stay again."

"Location, room ambiance. I loved my one night stay. Am already planning my next trip to this hotel."

"What an absolutely remarkable place! It genuinely feels as though a beautiful piece of historic Italy has been transported into this Chicago neighborhood. The architecture, thoughtfully selected ornate decor, warmth, and attention to detail create an atmosphere that is both elegant and incredibly welcoming. This is not simply a place to stay. It is an experience. And then there is Gina! Her hospitality is in a class of its own. From preparing a wonderful breakfast to serving homemade banana...

"We stayed for one night and everything from the staff to the room was absolutely perfect. We definitely would stay here again."
