"The hotel was good, but I was expecting more for the price. I wasn’t wowed. "

"This is probably my 6th or 7th time staying at this hotel and honestly, it seems to get worse with each visit. The incredible staff and convenient location are the main reasons I keep coming back, despite the dated rooms and noticeable stains. Noise is also a constant issue. the doors do little to block sound, and if your room faces Mount Royal the constant traffic noise hard to ignore. Thankfully, this stay didn’t include the endless faucet dripping or wet spots on the floor that I dealt with two weeks ago. After that visit, I was contacted by someone I assume was the manager, Mathieu Dugardin, but after I responded, I never heard back. Overall, the hotel is okay. The positives and negatives more or less balance out, especially if the price is low enough. And just another shout out to the amazing staff!"

"The rooms are outdated. Some rooms have been modernized, but some are still carrying extremely old and outdated furniture. There is a lot of parking on site at no cost. The thermostat in my room was super old. I had to dig my thumb into the button to change the temperature. The staff, specifically in the breakfast area, are extremely rude. They have a silly rule that you cannot take breakfast back to your room. The reason was, “it can cause ants and isn’t hygienic”. I advised them that, this is no different than me bringing food from outside and eating in the comfort of my hotel room. They also do not clean rooms every day. Amenities wise - good hotel. Just outdated. Front desk staff are good. But the lady in the breakfast area, pathetic. "

"The lady at reception was amazing. Front entrance/lobby are under renovations. Elevators are in desperate need for renovation. However, the rooms are well renovated, very clean and bed is comfortable. Now, please note that this hotel is ALSO a banquet hall. If there are any events happening, you will hear the music until the wee hours. Overall, I did enjoy my stay. Just be mindful of possible noise during nighttime events. Staff was also welcoming and friendly. "
