NH Montevideo Columbia
NH is a well-known hotel chain, and we've stayed with them in other cities. This was our first time in Montevideo. The location is excellent. Alma Histórica Boutique Hotel
I was happy with the room. The hotel is located across from a little square. There was not a lot of car or foot traffic outside. The location is good for visiting the Ciudad Vieja. I was also able to walk to the Buquebus which goes to Buenos Aires.

Axsur Design Hotel
Check in deadline was 10pm but they waited 20mins for me following heavily delayed flight which was appreciated.

Puerto Mercado Hotel
Rooms were clean and comfortable, service was excellent, hotel staff was super-helpful, location was great. Five stars!

Don Boutique Hotel Montevideo
It was a good location for the old town. During the day there are several restaurants open, but after 6 pm the choices nearby are limited. Our first room had a strong cigarette smell, but the staff moved us with no issue the next morning to a clean room.
