This beautiful hostel with many renovated rooms, outdoor courtyard, colorful walls is so lovely! I could have stayed anywhere but the images I saw called to me and the reality did not disappoint! I hope the owners continue to monitor the viability of the mattresses snd perhaps offer a better cup of coffee. But the rainfall showers and hot water, coupled with the ambiance makes it is easy to recommend. Oh, and did I mention- this is the center of El Barrio Antiguo! Trece Lunas restaurant and community space, and a Michelin star restaurant are just around the corner. And above all- there is Alexandra who gives this place its heart! She is so willing to extend herself and she does everything: bookings, housekeeping,cooking,seving with love. She treats the hostel with same care she likely gives to her own home and family. Thank you!

"La Casa del barrio, en pleno Barrio Antiguo de Monterrey, ofrece una experiencia fantástica. Su ubicación es estratégica y segura, rodeada de la energía de bares y restaurantes, con buen transporte y perfecta para perderse caminando entre museos y sitios de interés. El descanso está asegurado con camas muy confortables y la limpieza general es excelente, además de contar siempre con agua caliente. Personalmente, disfruté mucho del ambiente amigable con otros huéspedes, compartiendo buenos ratos. Es una apuesta segura para pasarla increíble durante tu estancia en Monterrey. ¡Muy recomendable!"

La ubicación es muy buena en el barrio antiguo muy cerca de algunos puntos de interés, la habitación sencilla y limpia. Tuve problemas ya que de 3 días que me hospede dos días no tuvo agua caliente y a bañarte con agua helada porque no se arreglo el problema, el personal es poco servicial, la puerta poco practica y no tienes privacidad ya que es de cristal y da para el pasillo aún que si tiene persiana

Me encantó el precio y la ubicación, pero espero consideren no ser tan rígidos con el check-in, es decir, que sea más flexible para aquellas personas que por alguna razón llegan antes y deberían recibirlos con las puertas abiertas y tener camas disponibles para ese momento. Adicionalmente, consideren dejar abierta la reja para dar esa impresión de apertura y que haya alguien que reciba de manera gustosa.

La ubicación es excelente, dentro de barrio antiguo donde encuentras muchos lugares para comer y en la noche la vida nocturna. Fui a un concierto a pabellon y super cerca para llegar a pie. Llegamos antes de la hora de entrada y al tener libre la habitación nos dejaron entrar, y se Super agradece; también a la salida nos guardaron las maletas y las recogimos más tarde. La habitación es básica pero bonita, tenia una vista linda al cerro de la silla. Buena para pasar la noche y descansar.
